Marketplace Atlas ("the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that overlays Facebook Marketplace search results with an interactive map. This policy explains what data the extension touches, how it is used, and your choices.

Data storage

All persistent data (geocode cache, settings, favorites, hidden items) is stored in Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync APIs. This data lives in your Chrome profile and is subject to Google's privacy policy for sync data. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension.

The extension communicates with the following external services when performing its core functions:

Marketplace Atlas has no affiliation with Facebook/Meta and does not interact with any Facebook API. It only reads content already rendered in your browser tab.

Children's privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
